Teachable Techniques and Technologies
•ALF Therapy: Creating simultaneous improvements in oral form and function through the simple sophistication of nature-based dental appliances
•OraLase: The use of NdYAG 1064 nm wavelength to improve oral and neurological function for patients 2 and older
•BabyLase: Providing gentle, effective and conservative care to improve oral and neurological function for patients 0-2
•OraLase+: The use of dual wavelengths of NdYAG and ErYAG to non-surgically improve oral and neurological function

FASTLANE: Instruction for therapists who are working in a Functional Integrative Team with an ALF Therapy or Laser Therapy provider (RestOralase/BabyLase/OraLase) and are looking to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to complement patient care at the level of incorporating the integration of neural circuits, cranial mechanics and fascial restrictions into a comprehensive approach to care.

The Fastlase Course is designed to educate those working alongside the ALF Therapy, OraLase, BabyLase and RestOralase providers to optimize the brain-body connection through the oral environment. Fastlane Therapists can attend the Shotgun module with their ALF Therapy or Laser Therapy Provider
Teamwork makes the dream work as together we put the FUN in function.
The Fastlane Course is designed to educate those working alongside the ALF Therapy, OraLase, BabyLase and RestOralase providers to optimize the oral environment and communication between provider members of the healthcare team.
Fastlane Therapists may include the following licensed providers: Medical physician (MD or DO), Chiropractor (DC), Physical Therapist (DPT), SLP-CCC, RDH operating as an orofacial myofunctional therapist
*individual state/province regulations apply to allow SLP or RDH to independently operate a class 4 non-ablative laser
Unlicensed Fastlane Therapists attend and participate under the license of their employer provider (e.g. dentist, physician, chiropractor, etc) in the role of an assistant

FASTLANE Course Options Include:
Comprehensive 3-day Immersion Course for those new to ALF and Laser Therapies (*Day 1 will provide hands-on demonstrations of OraLase as well as an introduction to the ALF Family of Appliances but will not provide instruction on their clinical implementation)
or
Condensed 2-day Clinical Course designed for those who are already familiar with ALF and Laser Therapies from thier experience with their local provider.

The Shotgun Hands-On Course
Bringing the benefits of ongoing continued education takes both time and a financial commitment by the provider.
We honor the value of time away from patient care and families as we strive to support efforts in making efficient use of our resources.
We also recognize that we all have differnt learning styles. Some learn better in a live interactive environment while others benefit from a virtual self-paced learning platform that offers flexibility and repetetive exposure to the course content.
The Shotgun course offers maximal commitment to the hands-on portion of a hybrid course delivery for those who prefer the didactic material in a virtual format. Successful completion of pre-recorded learning modules will be required prior to attending the hands-on Shotgun course to ensure that all participants are on the same page and ready to fully engage in the fast-paced yet individualized learning opportunities offered through The Synergy Academy's new Sanity curriculum.
