RestOralase

The RestOralase course is an intense two and a half day event designed to instruct on the nuances of when dental appliance therapies and laser assisted therapies are best combined to address both etiology and outcome of the breakdown of the neural circuits that support oral function and sleep. 

Laser therapy instruction will be provided for:

• BabyLase
• OraLase
• OraLase +

Dental appliance instruction will be provided to support all age groups utilizing:

• NeoNatal ALF
• MyoMunchee
• Alignment trainers
• ALF NLA
• Nordic Positioner (ALF based dynamic sleep support)
• Cranially friendly sleep support and mandibular advancement devices

RestOralase Course Objectives

1. ALF Therapy Wireless Devices: (NLA, NeoNatal ALF and Nordic Positioner)

Instruction on the indications, fabrication and delivery of the series of appliances

that are designed to create functional improvements through the simple

sophistication of nature-based, part-time wear dental appliances designed to

neuromodulate while providing a conservative approach to structural corrections.

2. OraLase: Instruction on the patient assessment to identify the indications for

therapy, treatment sequencing for and delivery of the OraLase protocol using the

NdYAG 1064 nm wavelength to improve oral and neurological function for

patients 2 and older.

3. BabyLase: Instruction on identification of oral fascial and neurological functional

challenges for patients 0-2. Participants will be provided with instruction on how

to treat adults and children utilizing OraLase Therapy as a precursor for their

ability to treat non-verbal infants and toddlers. Resources will be provided to

provide clinical examples for the technique to provide gentle, effective and

conservative care to improve oral and neurological function for patients 0-2.

4. OraLase+: The indications and use of dual wavelengths of NdYAG and ErYAG to

non-surgically improve oral and neurological function

5. RestOralase: Combining laser wavelengths, clinical techniques and dental

appliances for a comprehensive approach to wellness. Instruction includes

patient assessment tools as well as patient phenotype discussions to assist the

provider is selecting and applying the appropriate technique to an elevated

patient care model.TUITION FOR ACADEMY MEMBERS IS $4750 FOR PROVIDERS AND $1500 FOR A NON LICENSED ASSISTANT CURRENTLY WORKING IN YOUR OFFICE.

MEMBERSHIP TO THE ACADEMY IS REQUIRED TO TAKE THIS COURSE.
