By the end of Phase 1, the swallow has converted, reflexes have integrated, the arches have developed organically, and vertical dimension and anterior coupling are established through appliance therapy. So what’s left?
Phase 2: individual tooth alignment and deep bite and open bite correction. That’s the work that turns a functional foundation into an orthodontic outcome, and it’s what Finishing FORCES is about.
We teach the finish from both sides: the orthodontic specialist’s and the general dentist’s. Whether you finish the case in your own office or refer it to an orthodontic colleague who understands and respects the foundation it was built on, you’ll leave knowing how to get it over the finish line.
What we’ll cover
- Reading what Phase 1 has already done, and where Phase 2 begins
- Individual tooth alignment after appliance therapy
- Deep bite correction
- Open bite correction
- Finish in-office or refer: how to decide and how to hand off well
- One case, two views: the specialist and the general dentist
Who can register: ALF Evolution alumni. Your prior training qualifies you.

Cancellation: No refunds within 120 days of the course. A seat may be moved to another course within a 4–6 month range for a $500 fee.

Sleep and Pain Beneath the Surface
December 3–5, 2026
The trigeminal nerve sits in the middle of migraine. It belongs in the middle of the solution.
Poor sleep, TMD, facial pain, headache, migraine. Patients bring all of it into the dental chair, whether we ask about it or not, and most of the time we’re not their first call.
Beyond the Smile FORCES goes beneath the surface to the trigeminal neurology that ties these together, and to the dental appliance and laser therapies that put dentistry in a position to help, including 1064 nm transcranial laser data.
The goal is bigger than one course. We want dentistry taken seriously enough that medicine invites us to the table.
What we’ll cover
- Sleep and TMD through a trigeminal lens
- Pain and headache, including migraine, and why the trigeminal nerve is central
- Dental appliance options for sleep, pain and headache
- Laser therapy options, including 1064 nm transcranial laser data
- Earning a seat at medicine’s table
Who can register: All providers. No prerequisite for this December 2026 session, and no prior ALF training is needed. Starting in 2027, the NeuralFORM Aware Series is required; the first offering is January 29–30, 2027.
