NeuralFORM Dental Device Therapies

NeuralFORM Dental Device Therapies is the hands-on appliance course of the NeuralFORM curriculum. It teaches prescription-based dental device therapies that work with the forces created by the swallow and the bite, so the patient’s own reflexive systems set the pace of treatment.

Device options span daytime and nighttime, full time and part time, upper, lower and both. Some work purely through neural signaling; others combine neural signaling with structural change. The course trains you to choose which tool knocks on which door, and why.

• NeuralFORM GROW™ (Guided Reflexive Orofacial Wellness) supports healthy growth and development, for patients ages 2 to 11.
• NeuralFORM Enhance™ supports the maintenance of neural circuits and structural retention for patients 12 and older, including the Synergy AIR, NINJA and ALF for Trauma Release designs. If you took the ALF Guide course, you will find similar material here.

Synergy ALF can serve either one, depending on what the patient needs.

• The NeuralFORM Aware Series is the starting point. Aware gives you the neurology and the reasoning; this course puts it in your hands.
• GroundWork, the recorded pre-course, covers principles, biomechanics and sequencing, so our time together goes to designs, hands-on work and cases. Complete it at least three weeks before the course.
• Your NINJA. Each attendee receives a NINJA made by the lab from a provider self-assessment form. Lab fees are paid by the attendee, and you bring the device with you to the course.

A day-and-a-half hands-on course, Friday and Saturday. 2027 dates to be announced. Tuition is $3,200, with 12 CE hours. Open to providers with an active dental license.

Completing this course is the hands-on step toward the NeuralFORM Device Provider credential. Pass the proctored Aware exam and the device exam, sign the Provider License Agreement, and you’re listed as a NeuralFORM Device Provider. See the Provider Credentialing page for details.

If you hold a Fellowship or Mastership from The Synergy Academy, it carries over to the NeuralFORM Device Provider credential. Pass the one-time Update exam and sign the license agreement, and you’re set.

The ALF appliance was created by Dr. Darick Nordstrom. NeuralFORM and NINJA were developed by Dr. Angie Tenholder and are taught through The Synergy Academy.

No refunds within 120 days of the course. A seat may be moved to another course within a 4 to 6 month range for a $500 fee.
