The FIT and Fun course is designed to educate those working alongside the ALF Therapy, OraLase, BabyLase and RestOralase providers to optimize the oral environment and communication between provider members of the healthcare team.
FIT Therapists may include the following licensed providers: Medical physician (MD or DO), Chiropractor (DC), Physical Therapist (DPT), SLP-CCC, RDH operating as an orofacial myofunctional therapist
*individual state/province regulations apply to allow SLP or RDH to independently operate the class 4 non-ablative laser utilized in OraLase, BabyLase and RestOralase
Unlicensed FIT Therapists attend and participate under the license of their employer provider (e.g. dentist, physician, chiropractor, etc) in the role of an assistant

20 hours of live, hands-on experiential coursework includes instruction on the following assessments and techniques:
- The differences between compliance (exercises), conversion (reflexive swallow), compensations (improper muscular recruitment) and competancy (functional and neurologically beneficial movement patterns)
- STOP (Subjective Test Of Pain) Palpation Exam
- SWITCH (Strength With Integration of Cranial &Trigeminal Harmony) Assessment of the trigeminal neural circuits
- STARFISH (Moro retained primitive reflex assessment)
- Craniocervical and myofunctional range of motion assessments
- The R&B's (Fascial releases and cranial balancing technique)
- The 2 finger test and personal craniofacial release series
- The basics of oral function and airway assessments
- The basics of cranially friendly dental appliance assessment and adjustments
