This course has been designed to utilize BabyLase Therapy to support the dyad as well as the healthcare team that supports them during the early formative years of life.
Instruction on the use of the Fox 1064 Class 4 laser will be provided in the context of treating the multifactorial challenges of infants and small children with functional deficits and structural restrictions.
We encourage treatment teams to attend this course together as there will be instruction for:

Tuition:
$1800 Providers legally able to operate the laser to deliver care (state and license specific)
$800 Practitioners providing supportive therapy but not legally allowed to operate the laser

1:00 Embryology, birth and the importance of primitive reflexes and cranial nerves in movement, regulation and feeding
2:00 Infant functional screening and assessments, forms and documentation

3:30 Origins of BabyLase and differences between infants, toddlers and adults in applying HLLT with the FOX ARC 1064
4:30 Applying BabyLase principles with the Fotona Lightwalker (experiences, comparisons, contrasts, challenges and opportunities)
Saturday morning:
8:30 CARE assessment - treatment sequencing in combining the surgical and non-surgical aspects of oral restrictions and neurological challenges
Hands on demonstration of initial assessment and treatment using participants, mannequins or dolls (anatomically current dolls: newborn, 2 month and 2 years) with laser penlights to show treatment sites and movements

10:30 The role of bodywork and lactation/feeding therapy as integrated with BabyLase
The importance of treating all aspects of the Dyad: OraLase/SmileLase Connect for the mother and the role of cortisol and oxytocin
Q&A with role play to ensure that participants understand the motions and movements of the technique as well as the subtleties of infant function and the challenges of treating non-verbal patients
Putting the Fun in a Functional assessment: Red flags, green lights and proceed with caution. Know before you go.
